Bio
Weslen T. Lakins is an associate in the Chattanooga office of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP and a member of the firm’s Real Estate Finance and Banking Practice Group. He represents lender-side clients in real estate finance transactions, with a primary emphasis on HUD-insured loans, as well as warehouse and bridge-to-agency facilities, mezzanine financing, and other credit arrangements for healthcare and senior housing assets. Weslen structures and documents complex capital stacks that integrate HUD-insured mortgage loans with accounts receivable financing, operational assets associated with long-term care facilities, and both specialty and traditional collateral packages. Weslen is also a member of the ABA, TBA, KBA, TACC, and IAPP. Additionally, Weslen serves as a TBA YLD Board Member and the East Tennessee CLE Chair. Outside of work, Wes enjoys cheering on the Vols and spending time with family, friends, and his dog, Theo. He maintains an active lifestyle and is committed to mentoring startups and established companies across Tennessee.
